Antireflection Broadband UV Coating

This BBAR is designed to operate over a broad region to anti-reflect tripled and quadrupled YAG and all wavelengths in between.

Specifications:

  • Wavelength: 250-400nm *
  • Substrate Material: Fused Silica
  • Reflectivity: < 0.5% per surface (average)
  • Scatter and Absorption Loss: < 0.5% per surface
  • Durability: Meets or exceeds durability & environmental specifications of MIL-C-675A & MIL-M-13508

* Can be altered for other center wavelengths from 200nm to 250nm; typical bandwidth is 40% of center wavelength

Antireflection Broadband Coating

This coating is generally used where broad areas of antireflection are required – typically in visual or laser systems when many wavelengths are utilized simultaneously.

Specifications:

  • Reflectance: R< 0.4% per surface (average) over wavelength region on any index material (1.45-1.8) within its usable wavelength region
  • Wavelength Regions: 200-300nm, 250-400nm, 400-700nm, 700nm – 1.1µ, 1.0µ-1.6µ
  • Scatter and Absorption Loss: < 0.25% per surface (average) over wavelength region
  • Angle of Incidence: 0º (any other angle available upon request)
  • Durability: Meets or exceeds durability & environmental specifications of MIL-C-48497, MIL-C-14806A & MIL-STD-810
  • Temperature Range: -250º to +600ºC, depending on glass type

AR (Extended BB) Coating

Specifications:

  • Reflectance: R< 1.0% average from 425nm – 1.1µ
  • Reflectance: R< 1.3% average from 450nm – 1.1µ

  • Scatter and Absorption Loss: < 0.5% per surface
  • Angle of Incidence: 0º (any other angle available upon request)
  • Durability: Meets or exceeds durability & environmental specifications of MIL-C-675A, MIL-C-48497

AR 3:1 Coating

This coating is designed to reduce reflections at three wavelengths simultaneously. It is used primarily for frequency tripling windows.

Specifications:

  • Reflectance: R< 1.0% per surface at 1.06 µ, 532 and 355nm on 1.47-1.52 index material
  • Scatter and Absorption Loss: < 0.1% per surface
  • Angle of Incidence: 0º (any other angle available upon request)
  • Durability: Meets or exceeds durability & environmental specifications of MIL-C-675A, MIL-C-48497 & MIL-STD-810
